Dust control

Not only in waste processing but also in many production processes fine dust is released. Inhaling this fine dust is very unhealthy and can cause many complications.

Dust control

Substantial dust reduction can be achieved by means of effective atomization.
The mist produced by our atomizer has an extremely fine droplet size which creates a mist that does not immediately settle, which prevents the underlying objects etc. to get wet. Straight after the mist is projected it bonds to the free-floating dust particles. Collectively, the mass increases, making the dust particles heavier reducing the spread of the dust during the production process.

The mist that does not bond with the dust particles will evaporate quickly. Due to this evaporation process, the temperature can decrease a few degrees and the relative humidity will increase. The increase of humidity has a particularly positive effect. As a result, the chance of static electricity decreases and less dust is initially released during the processing of the products. Thus, the atomizer system acts as a “big energy efficient air scrubber”.

The owner / user of a misting system is obliged to draw up a comprehensive Risk Inventory and Evaluation regarding humidification according to the working conditions law. Furthermore, a legionella management plan will flow from this plan. As an independent manufacturer, Elka Air makes every effort to make its systems safe. For example, only clean drinking water may be used in conjunction with a UV-C lamp and water filter system.

Source control

It goes without saying that the most efficient form of dust control takes place directly at the source.

Hall atomization

High pressure atomization is considered the most energy efficient form of atomization.
